He will always love her....

Grigoris Arnaoutoglou spoke to Themo Anastasiadi on 'Ola 12' (9/04/12). The most memorable thing he said throughout the whole interview? When asked which co-worker he loves the most out of all of his years working, without a second thought he answered Rania Thraskia. He said he would love her for all of his life, even if he never sees her again. *sigh* The man still loves her, and he said it out loud for all the world to hear. They have both moved on in their lives but their history can't be forgotten. If only one day they end up both single again and run into each other, could history repeat itself?


I still 'ship' these two no matter what, so I am thankful to Grigori for putting it out there, for reminding everyone just how strong of a love story he had with Rania. We all know she was his soulmate and even though she has well and truly moved on now and doesn't talk about Grigori, if she heard this maybe she could allow herself to remember even for a moment...

Greek celebrities love using Twitter, many a celeb will update their status with what they're doing, what they want to be doing or making a statement they'd like to be heard.

It seems to be a growing trend, everyone is doing it. Pity Twitter still seems a bit beyond me, it just doesn't seem as easy as Facebook or maybe that's because I don't know enough about Twitter.

Maybe I should take lessons from a Greek celeb or two!

The hot new couple that have hit the Greek tabloids over the last couple of months. Are they or aren't they? The reports have been going wild, even wondering when the wedding will be despite the fact that Zeta Makrypoulia and Michalis Hatzigiannis have been dating a very short time, if they are in fact together. If I see it in their own words, then I'll believe it. Not that there aren't some very interesting paparazzi photos that tend to indicate the two are very much together.

I will say though, finally, a couple that seems to make some sense. If I see one more young and could do better Greek celeb marry an old fogey I will scream. I don't know how it happens and hope it has to do with love and not money but at least this coupling makes sense. Two good looking people, same age group, both talented and working in their own industries. They would definitely have good-looking babies!

The new season has started, there are some changes and some television personalities still waiting for a chance to enter into this season.

Eleni Menegaki is back and better than ever in the morning timeslot, she knows exactly how to keep her loyal fans and gain new ones and doesn't use her current personal issues to get ahead

I've followed the reports of Eleni Menegaki having a new squeeze after separating from her husband with interest. Personally I think the Greek media has been making a big deal out of nothing but if it is confirmed at some point, it will be a field day for them for sure!

The Greek media should stop covering the nonsense about Julia Alexandratou's 'roz' DVD and focus on some real news.

They don't realise that it isn't a coincidence that the wannabe fell off their radar and suddenly she's on it again because she decided to make a porn film which 'somehow' got leaked. It doesn't take Sherlock to work out it's just a stunt to get herself back on the radar again. It worked too, with the media outlets still covering it as if it's important. They're playing straight into what she wanted, those 15 minutes of fame again

Bombshell!

The bombshell has dropped, after 9 years and 3 children later, Eleni Menegaki and Giannis Latsios are getting a divorce! I must say this is news I never expected, the couple have always put out the image of being a happy and in love couple, devoted to their 3 kids. I never expected this, but it's not rumour, it's official, the couple releasing a joint statement yesterday stating that they have decided to separate but will always remain together as parents to their children, and hoping that their decision is respected and supported.

I am still shocked, this news came out of the blue. I hope the Greek media outlets allow them the space and privacy to get on with their lives though. Such a high-profile split will be extensively covered as it has already, but what needs to be remembered is that they are people too and need to have their time to grieve, process and move forward as do all others in such situations

Movers and shakers

There is a lot of movement going on in the new season in Greece, shows have been axed, people you don't expect to see being offered a role have one and people you would expect to immediately get a new role have not been offered one while others are simply taking their time to decide on a new role.

Most shocking of all - Proinos Kafes no longer existing as part of Antenna's line-up, a show Eleni Menegaki made famous which has been continued with varying stages of success by others. Clearly not enough success as the show has not been renewed. The duo of Haritatos and Karameros will instead be doing a show in this highly competitive morning time-slot and rumours are rife as to who will be their female counterpart on the show. Will it be Manolidou, Thraskia, Boule or no one? All rumours, none substantiated. In this case, I believe the presenter who would best fit in with the style of show and this duo, would be Rania Thraskia. I may not like her but she's very smart and should fit in well. She was axed from Alter while still in the maternity ward, not a great move by the channel I think. ANT1 and MEGA are likely fighting over her now that she is no longer with Alter
