The hot new couple that have hit the Greek tabloids over the last couple of months. Are they or aren't they? The reports have been going wild, even wondering when the wedding will be despite the fact that Zeta Makrypoulia and Michalis Hatzigiannis have been dating a very short time, if they are in fact together. If I see it in their own words, then I'll believe it. Not that there aren't some very interesting paparazzi photos that tend to indicate the two are very much together.
I will say though, finally, a couple that seems to make some sense. If I see one more young and could do better Greek celeb marry an old fogey I will scream. I don't know how it happens and hope it has to do with love and not money but at least this coupling makes sense. Two good looking people, same age group, both talented and working in their own industries. They would definitely have good-looking babies!
The new season has started, there are some changes and some television personalities still waiting for a chance to enter into this season.
Eleni Menegaki is back and better than ever in the morning timeslot, she knows exactly how to keep her loyal fans and gain new ones and doesn't use her current personal issues to get ahead,
Mega has opted for the newly married duo of Fay Skorda and Giorgos Liagkas. Watching Fay attempt to be knowledgeable in an area she's clearly out of her depth in is laughable. How she ended up on a show like this when she's only known for hosting a gossip show and wearing short skirts/low blouses is mind-boggling. Clearly Mega was looking for something entirely different. Giorgo is smart and seems to do well. I don't understand how they are getting quite good ratings though, I wouldn't subject myself to that daily! They'll rake in some more when Fay's rumoured pregnancy is confirmed.
Nadia Boule is back on our screens hosting Top Chef. It's a good thing ANT1 got her into their line-up, about time someone gave her a chance after she did a great job as part of Omorfos Kosmos. A fresh face with a lot of talent. Interestingly enough she's on in the same timeslot as her boyfriend Grigori Arnaoutoglou on Mega. He's a tough one to beat ratings wise!
I've followed the reports of Eleni Menegaki having a new squeeze after separating from her husband with interest. Personally I think the Greek media has been making a big deal out of nothing but if it is confirmed at some point, it will be a field day for them for sure!
