Gwyneth Paltrow Backs Lindsay Lohan
January 30th 2007 05:33
After Lindsay Lohan's fairly pathetic attempt at rehab, whereby she spends more time in Hollywood posing for paparrazzi photos than in treatment, Gwyneth Paltrow has randomly come out in support for her.
"My prediction is that Lindsay Lohan, she'll figure it out," the Academy Award-winning Paltrow told Entertainment Tonight. "It's really, really hard to be so young and so in the public eye and I think it's very confusing."
Paltrow added, “It's hard to be that out there and, you know, when everybody's analyzing everything you do, and she's ... very young."
Paltrow, 34, also said she felt that Lohan, 20, is very talented and will have a successful career.
Lohan, who checked herself into Wonderland Rehab Center on January 18, comes and goes as she pleases during the day, and then returns to Wonderland for nighthab.
In an apparent dig at Dina Lohan, Paltrow, 34, the daughter of the late direct-producer Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner, said her parents would never have allowed her to go through her rebellious years in public. "My parents would have killed me if I didn't do it behind closed doors," she said.
