Hype and drama

Message to Roula Broxopoulou - there is such a thing as going on too many channels and giving too many interviews. Yes we know you're just devastated that your marriage to Fran, who is I don't know how many years younger than you ended...29 perhaps? We now know more about your marriage and break-up than we ever wanted to and your face has been constantly plastered across every single Greek channel. Enough already, he was a gold-digger and you fell for it. How long did you really think the marriage would last? Just stop blubbering on all the channels and seriously trying the nerves of the Greek public.
Another sob story comes in the form of Greek television presenter Rania Thraskia deciding that it's time we wanted to hear about her personal life in an interview for magazine Down Town. Considering her usual stance on talking about those things, it's obviously just to drum up publicity for her show. Either way, she tells us she can't go back to her on-off again relationship with Grhgorh Arnaoutoglou and is currently in mourning about it. Koitaw mprosta...she's looking forward. Watch out you don't trip and fall with all that looking forward you think you're doing.
It's the year of Lakis Lazopoulos this year. He managed to reached a viewership of 64% on his Wednesday night show, and those numbers have been rising rapidly since the beginning of the season! He's brilliant no doubt about it, the only unfortunate thing is that he seems to have decided that this will be the last for his show, Al Tsantiri News. No Laki, we want more! What will we watch on Wednesday nights? We laugh, we cry (from laughing) and tune in weekly to watch a show filled with your brilliant comedic talents!
Anna Vissi's problems with the courts continue but Anna is such a STAR that I'm sure she'll come out on top. She has support from many high-profile Greek celebrities willing to testify in her favour in court, among those being Kaiti Garbi, Sakis Rouvas and Natalia Germanou. Go Anna, we're all on your side. And if they don't give you the property they've seized back just buy it new! Oh and come to Australia again, the concert I saw in January of this year was excellent. I hope to see you live again!
