Robbie Williams Enters Rehab

British pop star Robbie Williams celebrated his 33rd birthday by checking himself in to a rehabilitation clinic for an addiction to prescription drugs. Williams' spokesperson, Bryony Watts, wouldn't identify within what rehab facility he was staying.
American model Lisa D'Amato, who says she had a relationship with the outspoken singer, told Britain's News Of The World newspaper that he was using antidepressants.
"It was clear he was struggling with his mind. He doesn't drink, but he needs antidepressants to get him through the day. A lot of the time he seemed on edge."
Williams isn't new to rehab. In the mid-90's, he was in rehab for alcoholism and abuse of cocaine and ecstasy. After Williams' first stint in rehab, he said that he had become so bad that Elton John "kidnapped" him and forced him to seek treatment. In a 2004 television interview, he said that he only gave up drugs and booze because they made him "blow up to the size of a small aircraft hangar."
Williams cancelled an Asian tour in September, citing stress and exhaustion.
